Tax Credits / Free Money

Current and former foster youth can benefit from The Foster Youth Tax Credit (FYTC). It provides up to $1,117 per eligible individual​.

Free Computer Use

Anyone without internet or a computer at home can benefit from using a laptop computer —to apply for jobs, access homeschooling resources, or simply stay connected to information.  It's free!

Offers housing in a group setting as well as scatter site apartments. They can assist with support and access to other resources.

Money for college

If you are or were in foster care for at least one day, between the ages of 16 and 18 as a dependent or ward of the court and have financial need, you may qualify for up to $5,000 a year for career and technical training or college.​ Students attending schools in other states may also qualify This money can also be used for child care, rent or transportation while you are attending school, and does not have to be paid back.

The Transitional Housing Program is designed to help foster youth make a safe, successful transition into the community.  The  program helps to reduce homelessness among former foster youth.
